Our Goal

The former University Research Center (URC) - University Center for Research, Innovation and Development established with the article 23 of the law 4589/2019 (Α΄13), was converted to "IASON" University Center for Research and Innovation (hereinafter: PAKEK/UNCRI) as an independent research unit at the University of Thessaly (UTH) in accordance with the provisions of Law 4957/2022 (A΄141).

The objectives of PA.K.E.K. are:
a) conducting basic and applied research
b) exploiting research findings for the benefit of the Greek society
c) contributing to the specialization of new scientists
d) providing services to public and private institutions
e) education and practice
f) serving as a mediator between the public and private sector for the development of research units in businesses
g) promoting the Greek language and culture abroad

At the PA.K.E.K. "IASON" 12 research institutes (RI) are actively involved:
